Trestle Board- From the East

 There were slight problems getting the August Trestle Board out so we're pasting it here.

Sorry for the delay

1. Our outdoor degree was a spectacular success! Thanks to SW David
Sears who obligated, WB Bob Selph and JW Jim Campbell for food fit for a king,
and Brother Wally from Douglas Lodge who did the 3rd Section. Well done
one and all! Thanks also to WB Dick Quick  and WB Bryan for moving and
setup.  We look forward to next year partnering with Douglas, Aurora, and maybe
other Lodges, too.

2. September's meeting will be a stepup night. Please be prepared to
step-up!!!!!!!

3. We will be balloting on an EA candidate so we will need to start
planning a First Degree.

4. The Highway Cleanup is scheduled for Oct 18. 2008. SEee WB Dick Quick
for details.

5. We have several construction projects we need to do before the end of
the year - paint and seal the exterior of the Lodge; finish the wood
floor in the dining room; please provide input and ideas.

6. (Late addition) Brethren, when taking leftover food from our
communications and other events, please leave a little extra money. WE
did not do well financially at the outdoor degree and a lot of people took
home leftover burritos and burgers, etc.
