January 11, 2009 Greetings from the Kiowa#116 webmaster. I trust that you all had a great 2008 and are looking forward to a prosperous 2009.
I think we can all agree that 2008 is, for some, a year to remember and forget. In retrospect, it was a year that saw the passing of loved ones, the reception of new little ones, the election of this country's first African-American President, a huge shift in the political landscape of our country AND our beloved state. On top of that, we've seen a meltdown in our banking system and the bankruptcy of an industry that once defined the United States as the leader in manufacturing and technology. "The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.”- Franklin D.
